White House Doubles Down on Social Media Censorship

A federal judge ruled on Tuesday, July 4, that the Biden Administration was using the big tech industry to censor Americans for the federal government.

The present case is arguably the largest attack on free speech in American history. The Federal Government and the named defendants are accused of blatantly violating the First Amendment right to freedom of speech in their efforts to suppress alleged misinformation.

“Although censorship was alleged to have been imposed in this case, it almost exclusively targeted conservative speeches. However, the issues raised go beyond the party line. Free speech does not belong to any political party or ideology. The purpose of the Free Speech Clause in the First Amendment is to maintain an uninhibited market of ideas where truth will eventually prevail. It does not intend to tolerate monopolization by the government or a private licensee.

Due to this, dozens federal government agencies are temporarily prohibited from communicating with large tech companies.
