Trump Campaign Expects Tim Walz to ‘Be a Chameleon’ During VP Debate
Democrat Vice Presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), according to the Trump Campaign, will avoid discussing the “horrific radical policies” that he and Kamala Harris have during the vice-presidential debate. Instead, he’ll try to paint “rosy images” of the future under Harris.
During a conference call with House Minority Whip Tom Emmer, a senior Trump campaign advisor Jason Miller gave a preview of the debate that will take place on Tuesday between Walz and Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sen. JDVance (ROH). Ret. Ret. Tom Schilling and Sergeant First-Class Tom Schilling who both served with Walz in the Minnesota National Guard were on the call. They described how Walz retired when he learned of an imminent deployment to Iraq.
Miller responded that Walz was adept at deflecting questions. He said Walz has implemented radical policies and is facing accusations of stolen valor in Minnesota.
“Tim Walz faces a challenge.” Miller stated that Walz is very adept at his job, as demonstrated by Congressman Emmer, Tom Behrends, and Tom Schilling, both of whom served in the military and are from Minnesota.
He continued: “I expect Tim Walz to paint a Pollyanna image of how wonderful things will be with Kamala Harris,” said he. Tim Walz will avoid issues such as the desire to ban fracking and gas-powered cars, or their desire for amnesty of the twenty-plus millions illegal aliens in our country.
Miller believes Walz will “be a Chameleon” in the debate.
Miller stressed that “as Congressman Emmer stated, he will paint these rosy images of how wonderful things are going be, and he will be a chameleon.” “He won’t actually lay out the horrendous radical left policies that he and Kamala share,” Miller said.
He added, “But it will be difficult for Tim Walz at some point.” “He has to make a decision on the stage.” Does he defend these ridiculous things Kamala Harris is trying to implement, or does just pretend the question was not asked, and then try to pivot back to one of his usual platitudes?
Miller had predicted earlier in the call that Walz would portray himself differently than the “wildly gesticulating, effeminate cartoon” he displays at rallies.
He’ll be well prepared for the night tomorrow. He won’t be the caricature of an effeminate woman that we see at rallies, pointing at Kamala dancing on stage. Miller added that Walz will “be buttoned up” and be ready to “lie at his command”.
