Biden Wins Democrat Primary in Michigan amid Challenge of Uncommitted Democrats

Joe Biden won the Michigan Democratic primary race despite a coalition Arab-American voters who vowed to punish him for his handling of Israel-Hamas.

The Associated Press called the race for Biden as President on Tuesday evening.

Biden’s primary victory is a good example of what could become a major issue in the future, given the large number of voters who are not committed to the Democrat incumbent. At 9:15 pm Eastern time, when 14 percent of votes were in, the uncommitted vote totaled more than 20,000 ballots, or 15.8 percent. These figures are subject to change as the votes continue to be counted.

Due to Biden’s handling the conflict, Democrat Muslim Voters in Michigan had planned to vote in the Michigan primary “uncommitted”. Even Democrats who were concerned, like Rep. Dan Kildee D-MI, urged the voters to not vote for Biden but instead cast an “uncommitted” ballot.

Is Israel’s fate tied to Syria?

Syria has fallen, but we are still far from seeing the last of the hostages returned. Our brave soldiers must fight to secure Israel’s borders, rid the region of emboldened attackers all over the Middle East, and adapt to the escalating threats from Syria, but Israel doesn’t have enough supplies to properly win this war. Can you support our IDF sons and daughters as they continue fighting for the Survival of the Promised Land?.

He said: “I’ll be transparent, I share some of the concerns raised by the community. Abstaining does not help us move forward or address these issues.”

The #AbandonBiden movement began in December, when Biden refused to call for a truce in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Breitbart News at the time reported:

About a dozen state leaders, including those from Michigan, Minnesota Arizona, Wisconsin, Florida Georgia Nevada North Carolina and Pennsylvania, vowed to not vote for him during a Michigan press conference, accusing him that he had abandoned Muslim Americans, who helped him win the 2020 election.

Hassan Abdel Salam is the leader of the #AbandonBiden National Coalition, and an assistant professor of Sociology at the University of Minnesota.

Khalid Turaani is a Michigan community leader who has vowed that Biden will only be president for one term “because of his position on the genocide taking place in Gaza.”

“And we ensure that.” Turaani stated, “Now we are going to ensure that by announcing that we will abandon Biden we’ll punish him by giving them one term as president.”

Turaani continued, “We will mobilize and expand the alliance among people who are against Joe Biden’s stance regarding the genocide that is occurring in Gaza.”

Mitch Landrieu (former mayor of New Orleans, now Biden’s campaign co-chair) tried to counter the #AbandonBiden movement earlier this month by telling voters that Biden was trying to protect American interest and focused on releasing hostages.

James Carville, a Democratic strategist, is one of those who has warned that Biden’s uncommitted protest votes will cause a “huge” problem for him.
