Elon Musk opens up about his experience with ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ during ‘Hannity’ exclusive

Musk and Trump have their first interview together.

Elon Musk, a billionaire, said that he did not realize the “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” was real until he attended a dinner party with a friend a few months before the November 5, 2024 presidential elections.

Musk and President Donald Trump will be interviewed in a joint appearance on “Hannity” Tuesday, February 18th at 9pm EST.

Musk mimicked people going crazy at the party and asked why they couldn’t just have a normal discussion.

He told Sean Hannity, Fox News’ host.

Musk and Trump conducted a wide-ranging, in-depth interview at the White House last week. They discussed the work of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the first 100 days of Trump’s administration, and much more. This is the first time that both men have done a joint TV interview.

Last week, the DOGE leader, the 47th President, and the DOGE’s unofficial agency took questions from journalists about the role of the government agency in the Trump Administration and their plans to reduce “waste and fraud” on the federal level.

DOGE targeted in recent weeks the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Education.

Trump told Musk that he had instructed him to look at the Pentagon as well, which hadn’t been audited in years.
