John Boehner coup: Mark Meadows files motion to oust House Speaker

Tea party champion Rep. Mark Meadows filed a motion Tuesday to oust House Speaker John A. Boehner from his leadership post, escalating the feud between a faction of conservative lawmakers and the Republican leadership.

Mr. Meadows, North Carolina Republican, filed a motion to “vacate the chair,” which could force a no-confidence vote by the full chamber and result in the removal of Mr. Boehner as speaker.

What a freak show the House has become!! Here’s this turkey – Meadows – filing a motion to oust Boehner. Then the House goes on vacation – for 5 WEEKS!! Hah! And no votes for Planned Parenthood, border fencing, the Export-Import Bank. All your favorites, laying on the shelf gathering dust. This is one of those subjects that deserve an LOL!! Well, at least we have the first Republican debate to look forward to. Go Donald!!

  • Oingo Boingo says:

Boehner is an alcoholic Wannabee Patrician, Nouveau County Club 1%er that used to clean up his old man’s bar before he got into the Politics racket… that is blackmailed into Pet Doggie status by the current Communist pervert Administrators.
How does one tie a double and triple loop Hangman’s Knot ?
Once I figure that out, I’d like to test the triple loop on Boehner, Soetoro and Soetoro’s handler Jarrett, The Reptile From Hell.

  • danny kimbrel says:

Hell yes, remove that traitorous scumbag and throw his dumb ass to the curb.

  • Seedman says:

Let’s have the vote. Nancy Pelosi’s boyfriend must go!

  • reagangs says:

“Boner”, the RINO, needs to ride off into the sunset and retire. He is becoming ….. no, he is extremely annoying and needs to give it a rest. No more “back room” deals, no more “reaching across the isle” to radical demowits, liberals, progressives and/or commies, no more “middle ground” on policies that have been/ will destroy the real true America. No more “Mister Nice Guy”. It’s time to take off the boxing gloves and dish out some knuckle sandwiches. Trump is right, now is the time. Not next year, not 2017 or beyond, but NOW. Keep the faith and God Bless America, the most exceptional Nation, ever, and don’t anyone forget it.

  • Texas Dad says:

Good, get it done Mr. Meadows!

  • Robert Young says:

Thank you Rep. Meadows It is great to have someone who will initiate action, not just talk about the problem.

  • Jim says:

I agree with Mr Meadows! We need some Senator to do the same in the Senate.

  • marlio says:

I totally support this motion as he is not working on behalf of the American People.

  • Webb says:

    Is he gone yet…

  • Raymond Miller says:

We need to rid our selves of the dog and pony show that Boehner and McConnell have been putting on if we are to save our wonderful country. They have proven themselves to be nothing more than Democrat puppets, doing what ever Harry Reid or Obama tells them to do.

  • Rhonda Hunt says:

Oust this sucker,he has done nothing but betray the voters, how did he ever get to be speaker of the House, its the same as having Nancy Puklosi as speaker of the house, can we get any representation from our Politicians at all.—–Jim Hunt

    1. danny kimbrel says:

Maybe if we had armed American patriots at every proceeding, then they would do the right thing.

  • I Seigel says:

Now out in theaters everywhere and the halls of Congress, the latest summer blockbuster: Republicans Eat Their Young, Part VI.

If you missed Part V, just rerun the clip of Trump trashing McCain.

    1. ndeans says:

LOL – We can fix everything in this country if we just let the Republican lawmakers carry weapons to work like we know they want to. Within weeks, they will have all killed each other off

  • Tom M says:

All I can say is its well past time to oust this RINO. Don’t stop there lets get Mich in the senate to. Then congress can get the peoples some work done.

  • paulyz says:

If we are to remove the damage done to our Country, we must remove not only Democrat/Socialists from power, but the corrupt Republican RINO “Leadership.” The 1st. step is removing Boehner & McConnell, & replacing them with Conservatives, before permanent, unalterable damage is complete! !

    1. Maggiemae says:

AMEN!!!! Let’s get it done! I called my Congressional people yesterday. Dump those lousy RINO’s.

  • believe says:

IT Would show SOME Congressman are still working on behalf of AMERICANS. Boehner is a TRAITOR. we calk his type FENCE SETTERS ,he will vote with obamas suggestions for favors. like most politicians do after they get elected.

They have taken over who setsin our OVAL OFFICE, WANT PROOF?

    1. PPTA says:

      Honest post

  • Debbie says:

We put them there to be conservative not bow down to Obama

    1. I Seigel says:

Who is “we”? Are you a Republican from Boehner’s district in Ohio? If you’re not, then you’re not part of the “we”.

      1. danny kimbrel says:

If she is a conservative American Patriot ,then even though she may not be from Ohio, it is a we problem . and wouldn’t it be better to give the crap to any democrat rather than doing it to one of your own ? you are looking like a bully ,and nobody likes a bully.

        1. I Seigel says:

My point was easily understood: we don’t vote nationally for Congressmen. The people in Ohio put Boehner in office – “WE” didn’t.
Nobody likes a bully? Not very many people like okra, either. What part of my reply sounded bullying?

          1. danny kimbrel says:

She is a conservative , so why get on her case about not being from Ohio ? i don’t live there either but he is a problem for all of us conservative people considering he is a traitor. Only berate the liberal idiots who wish for our Republics demise and don’t send grief to conservatives.

          2. bobnstuff says:

He’s not a problem for the people from Ohio that elected him, he’s not a problem for the moderates that keep him in his post. He is a problem for outside conservative groups that want him gone and have their people working against him. This my come as a shock to you but not all of the country are conservatives and
sometimes you have to here their voices to. Your conservative agenda is not the agenda of the whole party or even a majority of the party. The tail can’t wage the dog no mater how much it wants to.

          3. I Seigel says:

Did I understand you correctly? Liberal idiots should be berated, but when a fellow conservative says something idiotic, we should give them a pass?

  • rondaswanson says:

@Raymond – YES! Indeed we were wrong. We listened to the smooth words of John Boehner and had faith that he would help “We The People.” He has proven time and again that the laugh is on us……..Who knew? It didn’t take long for him to become the pitching boy for Pelosi, Reid and of course Obummer. He is a traitor to the American people and needs to go.

The laugh Raymond is on you also – WE Republicans do admit when we make a hugh mistake! Now, we will do what is necessary to correct that mistake.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

  • savage24 says:

Well, at least there are some in the House that have their heads screwed on in the right direction. Hopefully the Senate will follow suit.

    1. PPTA says:

Yes, McConnell from Kentucky needs to go, he really needs to go. He is certainly no friend of the United States, but then neither is Boehner. Obama, Hillary, Patty Murry, Reid, Peloski, and a whole bunch more that want a one world order with the Bilderberg Group.

      1. jscarano7 says:

  • Raymond J Ambrozaitis says:

So what all yall Murikans are saying is yall were wrong when the election of John Boehner took place? I know the response I will get because yall real Patriotic Murikans can never admit you are or were wrong lmao

  • FedUpConservative says:

Now, Burr and Tillis need to follow the Honorable Mr. Meadows’ lead and do the same in the Senate.

  • FedUpConservative says:

My Representative (Ellmers) has shown many times that she has RINO leanings. I hope she does the RIGHT thing here and ousts Boehner.

  • disqus_tKlEuAw2uq says:

It is pass time that this happens, now we all need to write our House members and demand that they support this. This is what I send my House member will you do the same? Please like and share.

Earlier this evening, Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina filed a resolution in the House of Representatives to declare the Office of the Speaker of the House is vacant. In his resolution, Rep. Meadows lays out the case for why the Speaker’s chair is effectively vacant.

Quite frankly, this is a bold move and Rep. Meadows is surely going to start taking arrows for this one. We need to do what we can to back him up.

Please support Rep. Mark Meadows in this effort. You have supported that loser Speaker John Boehner twice and that is twice toooooo many times, support Meadows or resign or be voted out of office. According to a new poll from CNN, 53 percent of Republican voters feel that their views are not well represented by elected officials in Washington D.C. Americans sneering at Capitol Hill is an age-old pastime, but the remarkable thing here is the disparity. Republican discontent with Washington is far higher than it is with Democrats or the overall voting public. Conservatives are uniquely dissatisfied with the state of American politics, and this discontent is probably responsible for the shocking developments in the GOP primary race.

If you went back six months and told Rush Limbaugh that Donald Trump would emerge as the Republican frontrunner for 2016, he would have thrown you out of the EIB studios. No one saw this coming. But it has happened, and it has happened for one reason only: because Republican voters are pissed off at the way their party has laid down for Obama for the last six and a half years. There is such seething anger among conservatives that Trump survived what appeared to be a major blunder when he attacked John McCain’s status as a war hero. Trump supporters and opponents alike denounced the criticism, but he remains at the top of the polls nonetheless. That’s how betrayed the voters feel.

Donald Trump is the effect, not the cause. If he costs Republicans the White House, the party will have no one to blame but themselves. If it weren’t for a clear pattern of surrender coming from Republican leaders like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, voters would not be so entranced by Trump. The base was excited after the huge win last November. Finally, Obama’s agenda would be stopped in its tracks. Well, it didn’t take long for the air to come seeping out of that balloon. Now the establishment wants to take potshots at Trump? Nah, you had your chance. Now we’re doing something different. Get on board or get the hell out of the way.

    2. Dicken Sideher says:

I could not say it better!!

However, in addition, ‘lifer, career’ politicians should get it while they can! Thank God for Congressman like Rep. Mark Meadows!! 2014 elections were a resounding statement by American voters that WeThePeople can and will take control of our country from entrenched, corrupt politicians in Washington! WeThePeople gave the GOP a chance to correct the dangerous direction America is traveling. Approaching the one year mark, nothing has really changed, only some talking points which is BS.

So I along with millions will begin to choose other Conservative, Constitutional options from the Tea Party like Rep. Mark Meadows or perhaps Trump!

    3. podunk1 says:

The corrupt senate needs to go down with McConnell tied to the anchor… he’s worse than boner… a Reid clone.

      1. Magnus Erectus says:

Agreed, especially if we could tie some Democrats to that anchor as well, like Pelosi, Reid and a bunch of others.

        1. podunk1 says:

          For sure!

    4. Maggiemae says:

I called my Representative yesterday to dump Boehner. Also called on dumping another useless RINO….Mitch McConnell!

      1. podunk1 says:

Most corrupt collection of weasels ever… almost as bad as Reid & Pelosi

        1. Maggiemae says:

They’re all the same breed of corrupt! What amazes me….why in the hell do the people keep putting this rot back in office. Are the people voting for them just as evil or just plain stupid?

          1. podunk1 says:

My mirror tells me it’s both… Never againmakes sense.
