(NECN: Alison King, Lowell, Mass.) – Monday is debate night in one of the most closely-watched Senate races in the country. Senator Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren are getting ready to go head-to-head.
Unlike the first debate, which was in a television studio, Monday night’s debate will be held in at the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Tsongas arena in front of thousands of people in attendance. It will be up to moderator David Gregory of “Meet the Press” to try to keep the crowd under control.
The candidates will be sitting at a table with Gregory, much like a Sunday morning show format.
A lot has changed on the campaign trail since the first debate, including a video tape of Brown supporters making tomahawk chops at a campaign event.
The other issue has to do with who is more tied to corporate America.
NECN’s Alison King spoke with Mass. Democratic Party Chair John Walsh and the Brown campaign’s Colin Reed.
