Leonardo Andujar Sanchez (28 years old) was an illegal alien from Dominican Republic who was arrested by Revere Police Department. He was found in possession of three loaded AR-15 magazines, and 10 pounds fentanyl.

Sanchez was apprehended by police while he was searching for a room in a hotel which had been converted into a shelter for the homeless. He is currently in state custody and will be handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

David Callahan, Chief of Revere police, stated that “this individual was a danger to the occupants, workers on site, public safety personnel, and the entire community.” His arrest underscores the commitment of our police department to work tirelessly in order to protect our community against those who are dealing deadly Fentanyl or possessing illegal guns.

The arrest of an illegal alien prompted Maura Shealy, a Democrat governor of New York State, to announce a state-wide inspection of shelters for the homeless and a review their policies. She blamed the federal government for the “broken federal system of immigration.”

Healy stated that “this further highlights our broken federal immigration systems and the urgent necessity for Congress and White House to pass a border-security bill to prevent criminals entering our communities.”

Healy, however, has been an outspoken opponent of Donald Trump’s agenda for mass deportations and stated that state forces would not be assisting federal immigration enforcement operations.

In an interview conducted in November, the Democrat Governor stated that the Massachusetts State Police would “absolutely” not be allowed to assist the federal authorities in their efforts to enforce immigration laws against illegal aliens.

ICE agents arrested three illegal aliens suspected of sexually abusing children, just days after Healy voiced her opposition to deportation.

The Great Barrington Police Department arrested one of the three illegal immigrants, Guatemalan Mynor De Paz Munoz. He was accused of raping a minor and charged. ICE claims that the Great Barrington Police Department did not comply with a federal detainer and did not deliver the illegal alien to federal custody.
