Migrant crime crisis comes to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, playgrounds for rich and famous
Each suspect arrested by ICE on the islands in the last month has been charged with sex crime, mainly committed against minors.
Recently, illegal immigrants were arrested on Nantucket Island and Martha’s Vineyard island in Massachusetts. This has captured the attention of the entire nation.
In the last month U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has made six arrests in the islands. This is part of a bigger operation to detain suspects of illegal immigration accused of egregious crimes committed by beach towns favored the Biden and Obama family.
“I believe many people are worried about the violent illegal populations. It’s important to know someone’s background if they are here illegally. Toby Brown of Fox News Digital said that legal immigrants would even talk about this.

Brown noted that the majority of immigrants living on the idyllic Island off Cape Cod’s coast are active and good community members. This includes those who live there illegally. Residents are concerned, however, about those who might be fleeing violent backgrounds in their native countries.
He said that crime and poverty on Nantucket had increased in recent years for a variety of reasons.
He said that ultrawealthy islanders seem to be removed by these problems.
“I don’t think that the wealthy summer visitors see things the same way as someone who lives here locally.”

“Again, they are in large estates.” The mainstream media on Nantucket would like to have people believe that the island is like Disneyland, and there are no problems on the island.
Martha’s Vineyard arrests 23rd of August
On September 3, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston (ERO) announced that they arrested Brazilian Warley Neto, 24, on Martha’s Vineyard at the end of August. Neto, who entered the United States illegally through the Paso Del Norte region of Texas and Mexico border in 2018, faces five counts of raping of a Massachusetts juvenile.
In a press release at the time, Todd M. Lyons, Director of the ERO Boston Field Office said that “Warley Neto is accused of repeatedly assaulting a Massachusetts child. This poses a serious threat to the security in our neighborhoods.” “We appreciate the Dukes County Sheriff’s Office’s cooperation in prioritizing public security and allowing Neto’s transfer to ERO. Local jurisdictions often refuse to honor immigration hold orders and release dangerous criminals back into the community. ERO Boston will continue apprehending and removing the most egregious offenders in New England.”
ERO Boston reported that it had requested ICE detainers on Neto three times. Neto was sent to prison after the first detainer but was released early. He then allegedly committed more crimes against children just months later.
Too often, local jurisdictions do not honor immigration detainers. They release dangerous criminals back into their communities to commit new crimes.

Arrests in Nantucket on Sept. 10,
ERO Boston reported on Sept. 16 that Bryan Daniel Aldana Arevalo, a 28-year old illegal Salvadoran immigrant who was arrested in Boston on Sept. 10, has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a minor under the age of 14. Aldana Arevalo’s entry into the United States is not known.
Lyons stated at the time that “Bryan Daniel Aldana Arevalo is accused of some detestable crimes and disturbing crimes committed against a Nantucket Child.” “He is a serious danger to children in our Massachusetts communities.” ERO Boston won’t tolerate a threat against the most vulnerable members of our community.
ERO Boston also arrested Salvadoran Elmer Sola, the agency reported on Friday. Sola faces 11 counts for sex crimes committed against children, including three counts of aggravated child rape and eight counts each of indecent assault or battery.
Lyons stated that “Elmer Sola illegally entered the United States and then found his way to our Nantucket Community before allegedly committing some horrendous and despicable crime against a young child.” “The officers at ERO Boston won’t tolerate a threat like this to our New England communities.”
Sola’s exact entry into the United States is not known.
Nantucket arrests on Sept. 11, 2001
ERO officials announced on September 17 that Gean Do Amaral Belafronte was arrested by ERO officials on Sept. 11, an illegal Brazilian immigrant who has been charged with indecent abuse and battery against a person aged 14 or older.
Belafronte entered the United States legally in 2018, but violated his admission terms, according to reports. Officials said that he left the United States illegally in 2021, and then returned at an unknown date.
Lyons stated in a press release that “Gean do Amaral Belafronte illegally entered the United States and made his way to Nantucket where he allegedly sexually abused one of our residents.” “We have consistently kept our promise that we would prioritize public safety, by arresting and removing the most egregious offenders who are not citizens. This is not just a hollow promise; it’s a real commitment to our New England residents.”
This week, we can expect to hear about more arrests.
Recent ICE operations in the islands are compared to previous similar stings. According to The Nantucket Current, the agency arrested four people in 2017 and three in 2012.
Massachusetts has several cities that are considered “sanctuary” cities, where local police officials don’t always comply with detainer requests from federal authorities.
According to a report released by the Center for Immigration Studies in June, the number of “illegal” and “inadmissible migrants” living in Massachusetts has increased by 50,000 since 2021. The report also stated that 10,000 of the migrants were minors, and 8,500 were unaccompanied.
Florida Governor Rick Scott was elected two years ago. Ron DeSantis, the Governor’s Communications Director, Taryn Feenske, said that two planes were sent to Nantucket with illegal immigrants as part of the “state’s relocation program” to transport illegal migrants to sanctuary destinations.
“States such as Massachusetts, New York, and California will be better able to care for these people who they have welcomed into our country if they encourage illegal immigration by their designation as sanctuary states and support the Biden administration’s open border policy.”
