Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is in Georgia to campaign for former Secretary of State Karen Handel’s (R) Senate campaign.

Palin, who endorsed Handel and a number of other candidates last week, will attend an event late Thursday morning with Handel to tout her campaign.

“We are excited and honored that Governor Palin chose to make her first appearance of the 2014 cycle for Karen Handel in Georgia,” campaign manager Corry Bliss said. “The grassroots excitement since Governor Palin’s endorsement has been tremendous. Since the endorsement last week, the campaign has raised well over $100,000.”
