Mace immigration bill gets support from more than 60 Dems

The Preventing Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, introduced by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), passed with a vote of 274 to 145 on Thursday. More than a quarter among Democrats voted in favor.

61 Democrats voted in favor of the new bill, which seeks to declare immigrants without permanent legal status that have committed domestic violence or sex crimes as “inadmissible.”

James Clyburn, former Majority Whip of the Democratic Party in South Carolina, voted for this measure along with Adam Gray, George Whitesides and Derek Tran. Also voting were Jimmy Panetta, Mike Levin, Josh Harder, Derek Tran and Derek Tran.

Golden State is located on the southern border of the United States and is frequently a landing point for immigrants entering the country via Mexico. Mace has introduced the bill a second time. It was first passed by the 118th Congress, and sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The Truth about Columbia University’s Moral Failure

Columbia lost $400 Million in federal funding for good reason; they’ve been coddling up to America’s enemies. And the progressive left shouldn’t be so shocked because they’ve been helping to fund those antisemitic protests on college campuses. In fact, we have proof. Watch it here and then Stand with the Coalition for Jewish Values so we can rebuild America’s moral foundation.

The South Carolina representative who introduced the bill said, “This legislation sends out a clear message: If you are an illegal and have committed violence against women you will not be allowed to stay here.”

The Laken Riley Act was passed by the House Republicans, who had successfully pushed for its passage. This act will mandate detention for migrants arrested for theft.
