Trump Tells Biden to Fire Lloyd Austin for ‘Improper Professional Conduct’
Former President Donald Trump publicly urged President Joe Biden not to continue with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s delayed announcement regarding his hospitalization.
On Sunday, the former president published his decree on his Truth Social account.
Trump said that “failed secretary of defense Lloyd Austin” should be fired for dereliction and improper professional conduct. He had been missing for a week and no one, not even his boss Crooked Joe Biden knew where he might be. “He’s performed poorly and should have already been fired, along with General Mark Milley. For many reasons but most importantly, the disastrous surrender in Afghanistan was perhaps the most embarrassing event in our country’s history.”
Lloyd Austin, as Breitbart reported, hid his hospitalization in Washington for several days. This sparked a firestorm.
Washington was in shock Sunday as new information began to trickle out regarding Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s admission to the intensive care unit of a hospital for several days without disclosing it to the President, the National Security Advisor, Members of Congress and the Public.
This revelation raised serious questions, not only for Austin and his judgement, but also for Joe Biden, and how he was unaware that his Defense Secretary had been partially incapacitated over several days, especially at a time when military conflict between U.S. forces and Iran-backed proxy group is intensifying in the Middle East and threatening to escalate into a larger crisis.
Last Thursday, the U.S. warned the Houthis not to target U.S. commercial and military ships in the Red Sea. On the same day, a U.S. drone killed a militia leader who was backed by Iran in Iraq, raising the question of who ordered the strike.
Austin admitted in a Saturday statement that he should have “done a better job” of informing the public.
He said, “I promise to do better.” But it is important to note that this was a medical procedure I had, and I accept full responsibility for the disclosure decisions.
