Dinesh D’Souza, author of “America: Imagine a World without Her,” said that he had “a big smile” on his face after avoiding jail time after his conviction for violation of campaign finance laws on Tuesday’s broadcast of “The Kelly File” on the Fox News Channel.  “I’ve got a big smile on my face now. It is certainly wrong to be jailed for expressing one’s views. But this guy WAS convicted by a jury, and if you’ll notice from the article, he did not claim that he was wrongly convicted. He does not mention that he’s planning to appeal his conviction. He was simply happy he didn’t have to go to prison.

It is fascism and communism when someone is locked up for expressing their views. Obama may be trying, but we are not as yet a fascist and communist country!

I agree with him. Dinesh has a right to be happy he did not spend any jail time for expressing his views.
