John Morgan, a political mega-donor for NewsNation told “CUOMO”, on Monday, that those who poured millions of dollars into the Harris-Walz race were not trying to elect Harris but rather defeat Trump. Her campaign spending was also a cause for concern.

“All of the sudden, everyone has the keys to candy store. Ad buyers, talent consultants. Morgan stated that there were 100 days left to complete the task, and money began to pour in. He added that the “ego” of the buyers and the “crazy” desire for commissions from placed ads was the main driver.

The list included, among others, $15 million for “events production”, $4 million for private jets, and $1 million more to Oprah’s company.

Morgan replied, “Maybe legal.” When asked whether he believed someone could have stolen the money.

The donor also added that the reported $1.55 billion spent in just four months was proof that Harris should not run again.

Morgan stated, “I believe this disqualifies [her] forever.” “If you can’t run a campaign, you can’t run America.”

Harris will be followed by the same thing for the rest her career. He added that she cannot be trusted to handle the money and donors will be asking, “Where is the money?”

Lindy Li is a member of DNC’s finance committee. She told NewsNation reporter Rich McHugh the internal strife at the heart of the party and the confusion over money has led to some staffers leaving the party.

Harris’ campaign claims that money is not a problem.

Patrick Stauffer told The Hill that there was no debt or overdue bills on Election Day. There will also be no debts in the DNC report or HFP post-general report.

Morgan told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo that he would not fundraise for Harris following her entry into the presidential race. He called himself a “Joe Biden Democrat” and identified as an independent.
