What can we expect in Trumps Second 100 days?

May 4, 2017

We are now several days past the Media Made Up Mile Marker of a Presidents’ first 100 days.

So, what is on the agenda for President Trump and the Republican controlled Senate and House? The repeal of Obamacare is still a major issue. With a temporary budget passed until September, increases in Defense spending and money allotted for Federal agencies; the GOP is continuing to pursue the change, if not eradication of the Affordable Care Act.

House Republicans plan to vote Thursday on the latest version of the American Health Care Act – their answer to ObamaCare. The Plan proposed by the Republicans is summarized as such:

-Ends tax penalties, under the original Affordable Care Act, for individuals who don’t buy insurance coverage and larger employers who don’t offer coverage. Instead, insurers would apply a 30 percent surcharge to customers who’ve let coverage lapse for more than 63 days in the past year.

-Ends tax increases on higher-earning people and a range of industry groups including insurers, drug makers and medical device manufacturers.

-Cuts the Medicaid program for low-income people and lets states impose work requirements on Medicaid recipients. Forbids states that haven’t already expanded Medicaid to do so.

-Overhauls insurance subsidy system from one based largely on incomes and premium costs to a system of tax credits. The credits would rise with customers’ ages and, like the subsidies, could be used toward premium costs.

-Lets states get federal waivers allowing insurers to charge older customers higher premiums than younger ones by as much as they’d like. Obama’s law limits the difference to a 3-1 ratio. States also can get waivers exempting insurers from providing consumers with required coverage of specified health services, and from Obama’s prohibition against insurers charging higher premiums to people with pre-existing health problems, but only if the person has had a gap in insurance coverage.

-States could only get the latter waivers if they have mechanisms like high-risk pools that are supposed to help cover people with serious, expensive-to-treat diseases. A newly added provision would give another $8 billion over five years to help states finance their high-risk pools.

-Blocks federal payments to Planned Parenthood for a year.

President Trump continues to eliminate the heinous and dangerous executive orders left by his predecessor President Obama. Initiating a review of the Federal Land Grab, President Trump is seeing to it, that the land of the American people be returned to them.

Fox News Reports:

“President Trump last month ordered a review of national monuments, an examination that will cover more than 100,000 acres that were designated by presidential decree over the past 21 years, and will assess whether past presidents put a stranglehold on millions of acres of federal land to keep it from being used by ranchers, farmers or for outdoor recreation.

The Department of the Interior will look at dozens of monuments, starting with the Bear Ears National Monument located in southeast Utah. It covers 1.35 million acres and was proclaimed a National Monument by President Barack Obama on December 28, 2016, just as he was leaving office.

Trump referred to it as a “massive federal land grab,” noting: “It’s time to end these abuses and return control to the people.” (Read More)

Still trying to find the funding for the promised border wall, it has been suggested that President Trump and his administration use the money seized from Drug King Pin El Chapo.

With tensions growing in North Korea, and recent Russian bomber intrusions in Alaskan airspace; President Trump has a boat load of work ahead of him.

    Impressed by his 100 Days?

A step backwards and lots of broken election promises has been the case with Trump so far.

No money for Trump’s wall, plus 6 other GOP issues missing from $1T spending bill

Congressional negotiators have come up with a $1.07 trillion plan to keep the government running through the end of September – but there’s a lot missing from the 1,665-page bill.

And much of it involves items that President Donald Trump promised during his campaign and the early days of his presidency.

Here’s a list of GOP-friendly issues missing from the spending bill.

    1. Border wall

The bill includes $1.5 billion for border security, but noticeably absent is any funding for a border wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, a major promise of the Trump administration to curb illegal immigration. Instead, the money will go toward enhanced technology and improving existing infrastructure.

    2. Planned Parenthood

There are no cuts for Planned Parenthood, a target of abortion opponents and many Republicans for its provision of abortion services. Republicans have threatened to shut down the federal government in the past over Planned Parenthood funding.

    3. Deportation forces

During the presidential campaign, Trump promised to build a “new special deportation task force” to remove millions of immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally. No funding goes toward such a force. The bill does, however, fund 5,000 additional detention beds.

    4. $18 billion cut in non-defense spending

There is no sign of massive non-defense spending cuts, another goal of the Trump administration. The Environmental Protection Agency maintains nearly 99 percent of its funding, $295 million goes toward Medicaid in Puerto Rico and $4.6 billion is set aside to permanently grant health benefits to 22,000 retired Appalachian coal miners.

In a March budget proposal, the Trump administration sought to cut EPA funding by $2.6 billion. It also aimed to decrease funding for the National Institutes of Health by $5.8 billion. Instead, NIH will receive a funding increase of $2 billion.

    5. Sanctuary cities

So-called sanctuary cities — which limit cooperation with the federal government on immigration law in order to shelter immigrants here illegally — will not be deprived of federal funding. Trump has threatened to withhold funds from sanctuary cities in the past.

    6. Cuba

The bill does not roll back President Barack Obama’s easing of economic and trade restrictions with Cuba, a goal of some Republicans such as Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida. It contains no language barring Americans from bringing home merchandise from Cuba or doing business with companies owned by Cuban officials or family members. Travel for educational purposes is also still allowed.

In February, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Trump would take a “full review” of U.S. foreign policy on Cuba.

    7. Marijuana

The bill bars the Department of Justice from using funds to interfere with medical marijuana use in states where it is legal.

Operators of marijuana companies will still have to deal in cash, as lawmakers rejected a proposal that aimed to make it easier for cannabis shops to use banking services.

Four more Trump lies to add to the 7 NEW BETRAYALS disclosed ABOVE…..

    1. “Mexico will pay for the wall.”

    2. Trump says he won’t label China a currency manipulator

Published April 12, 2017 Associated Press

WASHINGTON – Backing away from a campaign pledge, President Donald Trump said Wednesday that his administration won’t label China a currency manipulator in a report due this week, though he does think the U.S. dollar “is getting too strong.”

US Steel has an ‘additional’ uphill fight against Trump’s betrayal.

    3. “Trump Administration Moves to End Clinton Email Legal Cases”

….President Donald Trump’s administration continues to oppose two conservative groups’ legal case regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, The Washington Post reports.

….Judicial Watch and Cause of Action took to federal court in Washington, D.C. Monday to argue for the release of further emails to and from Clinton, but Trump’s State and Justice Departments continued to oppose their request.

….The Post notes that a previous ruling from Judge Boasberg against Judicial Watch was overturned just after Christmas by the D.C. Circuit Court, giving Trump a clear opportunity to push for further investigation that he declined to take.

    4. Trump did not repeal Obamacare as he promised but instead offered up a lame Ryancare 2.0 clone that crashed and burned.

Before Trump had even taken office, and in his own words, he has backed off now on 90% of what his supporters wanted, and 50% of what he promised.

Setting aside Obama’s, Clinton’s and Holder’s crimes for A G Sessions to deal with later for a moment…

Trump is backing off now on repealing ALL of Obama’s executive orders as he PROMISED. Is that, >> to keep us Safe?

Trump will leave 10 million of the 12 million illegal aliens here, not convicted of VIOLENT crimes, to compete for American jobs.

    >> to keep us Safe???

Trump will NOT deport tens of thousands of muslim RAPEfugees here now.

    >> to keep us Safe???

Trump will NOT end the H-1b visa programs or deport the tens of thousands of Hindu’s here now taking American jobs.

    >> to keep us Safe???

Trump ONLY said he will deport 2 million “criminal ilegal aliens” and leave all the rest (listed above) here, with us inside a wall he will build with US tax Money!

    >> to keep us Safe???

Trump will trash Dodd-Frank banking regulations set up after the financial crisis, once again allowing tax payers to be swindled and put on the hook later for a bail out.

    >> to keep us Safe???

But I suppose 10% of something under Trump is better that 100% of nothing under Clinton.

……..Trump has betrayed his voters and gone full RINO!

…………………Excuse me, if I am underwhelmed!
