James Comer to Begin Deposing Biden Business Associates

James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee (R-KY), predicted that in a few weeks or months, Biden family associates will be deposed.

Comer stated that Devon Archer, a top Hunter Biden associate, would be the first to be deposed in order to unravel the international business schemes of the family.

Sources familiar with the schedule of the committee told Breitbart News Thursday that Archer’s attorneys are in touch with the committee to arrange the interview.

The committee summoned Archer in mid-June to appear on June 19, according to a source familiar with the situation. Breitbart News reported that a source with knowledge of the situation said Archer negotiated for a later date to appear before them.

Don’t let Senate Republicans kill the Trump Agenda

Why do Senate Republicans make the rest of the GOP worry every time Congress has a fight over major legislation? They rarely seem to remember that they were elected to protect individual rights, cut spending and limit government overreach. Fortunately, we have our Top Defenders of Liberty leading the way, like:

  • Rand Paul,
  • Mike Lee, and
  • Ron Johnson.

Unfortunately, there’s still many others in the U.S. Senate who earned a low score in our Liberty Index, and they need to hear from you.

Will you join our efforts to ensure the U.S. Senate passes Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” without compromises or interference from Senate RINOS?

Comer, speaking to Fox News about the ongoing investigation on Wednesday, said: “We have entered the deposition phase.”

Washington will probably give Washington lawmakers about 12 months to finish their investigation into the family’s dubious deals. The summer campaign of 2024 is likely to be the top priority.

Comer stated that Devon Archer would be the first to be deposed. He was the first one involved in Hunter Biden’s business dealings. We have a list that includes all the people who were part of the Biden organisation that we intend to depose throughout the summer.

Archer, Hunter Biden’s ‘best friend in the business, got into legal trouble in 2022 after defrauding an Native American tribe. The court ordered that he pay $43,954,416.75 to the victims.

Archer and Hunter Biden were both on the board at Burisma in Ukraine, where Mykola Zlochevsky was alleged to have bribed Hunter Biden by $5 million.

Archer was photographed playing golf in Southhampton with Hunter, then Vice President Joe Biden and other photographers.

The photo raised doubts about whether Biden knew of his son’s scandal-scarred overseas business dealings. As a presidential hopeful, he had claimed that he did not discuss this with his son.

Hunter was with Archer for many years. In the late 1990s, they attended Yale together. Archer became the vice chairman of John Kerry’s unsuccessful 2004 presidential campaign. He met his classmate Chris Heinz and another Biden business partner.

The committee has not publicly released any results from these subpoenas. The committee has yet to publicly release any results of these subpoenas. In May, Comer stated that the Biden family would “more than likely,” receive subpoenas. These also seem to be outstanding.
