Lake said that the next six months will be intense and called on attendees to “be ready for action,” particularly those veterans of law enforcement and military.

Kari Lake, Arizona’s GOP Senate candidate, told her supporters to “strap on Glocks” in order to prepare for the intensity of 2024’s campaign. She also urged veterans and military personnel to be “ready”, as the race heated up in this key battleground.

Lake told a group of Arizonans in Mohave County, Arizona, at the end of his Sunday speech, “We must send people to Washington, D.C., who the swamp doesn’t want there.” “I can think of two people that they do not want to be there.” Donald J. Trump is first on the list, followed by Kari Lake.

She said that she stood up to Washington’s “swamp”, saying “They can’t blackmail me, but they can bribe.” They don’t want her in Washington D.C., and that’s why President Trump wants her there.

“He is willing to sacrifice all that I am.” They’re going after us with all kinds of lawfare. The next six months will be intense. Let’s strap in our — let us see. Lake asked, as the crowd laughed. We’re going strap our, our seatbelt. We will put on your Kari lake ball cap or our helmet. We will put on God’s armor. We might even strap a Glock to our side, just in case.”

Lake added, “We won’t be victims of crime.” We won’t have our Second Amendment taken from us. These tyrants will not take away our First Amendment.

Lake had earlier warned about the time between now and Election Day.

The next six months will be tough. Lake asked her supporters to show their hands if they were ready to take action. “I have a feeling that there are many former and active law enforcement officers, veterans, and law enforcement who are ready to act,” she said. When asked to clarify her remarks, Lake’s campaign refused to comment. She also declined to say whether or not she implied that political violence could occur in the coming six months.

Lake did not explicitly mention political violence but one of her supporters interpreted her words in this way.

Geenee ROE, 63, said, “They will do whatever they can to disrupt this election, whether there is another pandemic or if it’s to incite civil war.” When asked about Lake’s speech, Geenee responded, “They are going to do everything that they can to disturb the election, regardless of whether it’s a pandemic or if it’s to incite the civil war.” A raffle for an AR-15 style rifle was part of the event.

NBC News asked a Lake Havasu City woman, who intends to vote for Trump in 2024 and Lake, if another American Civil War is a real possibility.

Roe believes that the political left has been trying to bring the MAGA movement down. Roe said that “saying that MAGA people were bad, and that we incite violence — and the J6 thing, that happened, was all a set-up for sure.” He was referring to the debunked conspiracy that the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, was an attempt to frame Trump and supporters.

Lake made his comments in Arizona’s northwestern Mohave County. This county voted for Trump by 75% in the 2020 presidential elections. The Senate candidate is aiming for a larger margin of victory in 2024.

Lake has consistently rejected both the results of the 2020 elections, in which President Joe Biden defeated Trump by a narrow margin, and those of the 2022 elections, where her bid for Governor was defeated by an even wider margin. In court cases or other reviews, there was no evidence of fraud and malfeasance that affected the results. In March, Lake chose not to contest liability in the defamation lawsuit brought by a Republican official of Maricopa County.

Stephen Richer is the Maricopa County Recorder who plays a crucial role in election administration. He filed a defamation suit against Lake in June, alleging she had “repeatedly falsely accused” Richer of causing Lake’s electoral defeat in her race for governor, won by Democrat Katie Hobbs. Lake’s attorneys filed a motion for default judgment that stated she did not contest her guilt. She will instead argue against damages.

On Sunday, she continued to question the validity of Maricopa’s election results.

“You know what’s going on in Maricopa County.” I mean, you know that you know, the garbage that they’re pushing down there,” Lake said of Arizona’s most populous county, where Richer and the Republican-controlled board of supervisors run local elections.

Lake said, “We need to get all the counties outside Maricopa County involved. I count on Mohave County as a leader.”
