Convicted Felon Hunter Biden Sits in on West Wing Meetings with President

Hunter Biden, 54 years old, son of the president, was recently convicted for three felonies involving guns. He is said to be sitting in on meetings in the West Wing with his father as the Bidens try to deal with the fallout from last week’s presidential debate.

The New York Post reported on Tuesday:

The Post confirms that since Monday, President Biden’s son Hunter Biden is attending West Wing meetings together with his father. This is despite the fact that the oldest sitting president has refused to resign despite calls from other Democrats.

The scandal-plagued Hunter is a supporter of his father’s 81-year old bid for a new term. According to reports, the Bidens blame longtime advisors for President Obama’s poor performance in the Thursday debate.

Hunter Biden’s new unusual role was reported first by NBC News citing four different sources. Two sources with indirect information confirmed this to The Post, saying they were not sure exactly what his role was in informing political and official decision-making.

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House Press Secretary, told reporters that Hunter Biden was in town because of the holiday weekend. She also noted that he is close to his dad. She refused to say if he was meeting senior West Wing advisors.

Hunter Biden, a former vice president of the United States, was found guilty last month for three felonies. He lied about his drug use on a federal firearms application form from 2018. Joe Biden, and Democrats, have ironically used the phrase, “convicted felon,” to attack Donald Trump, former president and presumptive Republican candidate for president. Trump was convicted of falsifying records at a Manhattan business in May, in a case that many observers found unfair and tainted with political bias.

Hunter Biden, his father’s vice president in the Obama administration, was involved in schemes that provided access to the White House to his foreign business partners. Now he has direct entry.

Hunter Biden’s background or security checks are not known. It is also unclear what meetings he attends with his father and what policy decisions are taken with him in the room.
