Israel has not yet decided whether it will conduct a ground operation

The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday that Israel had not yet decided whether it would conduct a ground campaign in southern Lebanon.

IDF commanders last week urged for readiness in the event of a ground operation. Tomer Bar, the chief of the Israel Air Force, said that the air force is prepared to support troops in any ground operation against Hezbollah.

Last week, IDF Commander for the Northern Region Maj.-Gen. Uri Gordan told his troops to be prepared for an invasion and possible action.
