HOUTHI MISSILES STRIKE ISRAEL! For the First time in weeks, missiles from Iranian-backed Houthi Rebels in Yemen have been fired upon Israel. Sirens went off across Central Israel in Tel Aviv, Petah Tikvah, Kfar Saba and Holon, among other towns and cities. The people of Israel face the reality of life and death daily and this image is the proof.
We have 100 hostages who have still not made their way home since October 7, 2023, and the casualties from this war continue to mount for both civilians and members of the Israel Defense Forces. The People of Israel need your help. Will you bless them with a contribution to our Israel Emergency Fund TODAY? The ceasefire has proven to be a farce, and the war is far from over. Just last week, more of our IDF soldiers were killed on the frontlines. Close to my home, civilians were targeted in a bus shooting outside Jerusalem and 2 young boys were murdered. It appears that Israel will continue to be threatened with attacks like these ones for the foreseeable future. And while we’ve had to endure this way of life, our civilians, security and military personnel are all suffering from the effects of PTSD—PRESENT Trauma Stress Disorder. There’s nothing normal about having to protect one’s family or self from missile attacks, bus shootings, people invading our towns to commit violence or even explosions in high traffic community areas. But this is the reality we face. It’s why our Israel Emergency Fund must continue to provide resources, tactical and medical supplies to civilians, security personnel and members of the IDF, all of whom are all being impacted by more than 437 days of war, but we can’t do it alone. Can they count on your assistance during these difficult times? I’ve just visited the United States and shared my story about being a citizen of Israel, a father to 2 IDF soldiers and a witness to this war. And while the news may not be making its way to you, Israel has soldiers still in the Gaza searching for hostages, on the Northern Border attempting to keep out Syrian forces and others who seek to do us harm. We continue to have soldiers throughout the Judean-Samaria region doing their part to thwart other attacks. All of Israel’s sons and daughters are impacted. We want and need a swift and just end to this war with as few casualties as possible on both sides, but our enemies don’t share this vision.
