Trump warns Hamas to free hostages by noon Saturday or he would ‘let hell break out’

The President warned Hamas terrorists Monday night that if they did not release all hostages before noon on Saturday, he would allow Israel the right to revoke the cease-fire in place and “let the hell break out” throughout the Middle East.

The president said to reporters in the Oval Office that if the hostages were not returned by Saturday, 12 o’clock – I believe it is an appropriate time – he would cancel the plan and declare it a sham.

I’d say that they should be returned before 12 noon on Saturday. If they are not returned – all of them – not in small pieces, not two, one, three, four, and two – by Saturday 12 o’clock, then there will be a riot. After that, “all hell will break loose.”

Trump didn’t rule out sending US troops into the region, telling reporters that “we’ll watch what happens.” He also did not elaborate on his statement “all hell will break out.”

“You’ll learn, and so will they.” Hamas is going to find out,” Trump said, without revealing if he intended to use US or Israeli military force.

Hamas announced on Monday that it would cancel a planned hostage release. It argued that Israel hadn’t lived up to their end of the bargain.

Abu Obeida said that the Hamas military section wanted something as a reward for Israel breaking its ceasefire agreement.

Obeida, writing on X, said that “Hostages scheduled for release next Saturday… have been postponed until further notification and until the occupation commits and compensates retroactively for the entitlements from the past weeks.”

Trump, who is 78 years old, made this comment as he signed executive orders in the Oval Office. He was repeating an earlier line that he had used to directly threaten the terrorist group controlling Gaza Strip.

Five days earlier, the president had said that he wanted to control the Gaza Strip and develop the property there without allowing Palestinians to return.
