Dear Supporter of Israel or %%FIRST NAME%%: As bad as October 7th was to the Jewish community, what happened in Amsterdam this week also caught us by surprise. In fact, it shook me to the core. On the 86th anniversary of Kristallnacht, Jews were hunted and chased throughout the streets. Thugs waving Palestinian flags mimicked the Nazi cry of “Show Me Your Papers!” by chasing down and demanding to see the I.D.s of Jews and beating several up. No Jew is safe now from Iran’s thuggery, their onslaught of evil. Because if it can happen in the otherwise peaceful Netherlands, what’s to say it won’t happen to Jews in Chicago, Los Angeles, or Houston? The expansion of the attacks into Amsterdam doesn’t mean Hezbollah and Hamas have given up the fight. In fact, Hezbollah just launched dozens of more rockets into Northern Israel this morning, continuing the nightmare threat of genocide against the Jewish people wherever they may live. That’s why these attacks in Amsterdam give us even more urgency to put an end to these extremists. As such, we are doing our part as the conditions permit, from sending food to medical supplies and even tactical supplies. In addition, our advocacy to get the truth about what’s happening here out is no less critical. But it’s all expensive, especially as we are now in the 13th month of fighting this war. No matter what, we will not let the antisemites get a free pass to threaten Jews anywhere on this planet, and we will not abandon our soldiers and civilian security personnel who are on the frontlines throughout Israel and on its borders. But we can only continue to do our part if we have the funds to meet these needs. As the war continues, we’re simply running out of money to do all that’s required. Don’t delay. Amsterdam is only the beginning, and we must be ready for what comes next. Support our efforts to defend G-d’s children and the Holyland today. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You, Jonathan Feldstein
