My Warning to the GOP

2024 was mired in hard, grinding work but it paid off. Our team helped to ensure Black voters in key states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan turned out in record numbers to elect Donald Trump and a GOP majority in Congress.

Now, the hard work of governing begins, and the GOP will need to show Black Voters that their votes have meaning; promises must be kept, and we can’t allow the Democrats to stand in the way.

In fact, I’m here today to issue a warning: We could easily lose these new Black voters if we take them for granted as the Democrat Party did for nearly 70 years.

New Journey has stood as the GOP’s conduit to Black America since 2020 and that’s why we can’t let up now.

If you want to continue to see Black voters support America First Policies in 2025 and turn out for Republican candidates in 2026, then we need to do the work today.

It’s not just 2026 that we have to focus on, or the fights on Capitol Hill.

Virginia’s Lt. Governor Winsome Sears is running for Governor this year. We helped ensure her victory before, and now we’ll need to persuade Black Voters once again if she’s going to end up in the Governor’s Office.

You can bet that the Democrats will attempt to stop a Black Republican from being Governor but we can’t let them succeed.

They want to force us to work twice as hard to deliver the results for Winsome and for the GOP in 2026 which means we need to fight back against the left and deliver on the campaign promises.

There’s a lot to tackle, but Black America is waiting for the GOP to deliver on campaign promises and we must defeat any attempt by the Democrats to stand in their way.

The stakes of losing mean Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and AOC will take back Congress by 2026 and ramp up their socialist policies.
