Veterans are why elections are free

It's so easy to forget what it would be like without our Veterans defending the Constitution.

Rep. Jack Bergman

%%FIRST NAME%% or Fellow American:

We just had a free and fair election this past Tuesday where we elected Donald J. Trump as our 47th President. And you can thank a Veteran for that!

In my 40 years in the Marines, I saw what countries without freedom and security look like. And it always reminds me how easily we could have ended up the same way.

But thanks to those who put their lives on the line to protect the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, we live in a free country, a shining beacon of Liberty!

That’s why we pause on Veterans’ Day to honor the men and women who have served. And with your help, I will continue to fight for them in the Halls of Congress.

I am working tirelessly each day to right the ship in this long, hard battle, and that’s why I need your help.

We must ensure that our government never abandons those who so selflessly served.

Today, I am asking you to join me in this fight to honor our brave Veterans and to keep our nation safe.

Service to our nation by our brave Veterans is a debt that cannot be repaid, but we must deliver on our commitments to them, now and forever.

There is no better way to honor our Veterans and active-duty personnel than by continuing to stand up against those who seek to reshape America.

As the threats against our nation and its allies increase daily, the cause of freedom is too important. That’s why I will continue to uphold it, but I need your help to succeed in this mission. Will you join me?

God Bless America,
Bergman for Congress
