Leading Pro-Life Group: Biden Will ‘Use Tragic Situations’ to Push Abortion Agenda at State of the Union
The State of the Union Address on Thursday night will be used by President Joe Biden, Democrats and their allies to promote the killing of the fetus and IVF as part of the abortion on demand agenda.
Biden will likely continue his campaign against abortion in his speech, as he has done so relentlessly since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling and before the presidential elections. His strategy and that of Democrats in general has been to portray Republicans who support pro-life legislation as extremists, and to blame the former president Donald Trump for ending Roe v. Wade which for 50 years had established an invented Constitutional Right to abortion.
The Hill reported that Biden’s strategy includes bringing guests who have tragic abortion stories as well as IVF specialists and people born from IVF. Jill Biden, the first lady, invited Kate Cox from Texas, who had her disabled child aborted after she left Texas at 21 weeks. She did this after the Texas Supreme Court refused her request for an abortion. The justices noted that Cox’s physician had not provided evidence that her pregnancy was life-threatening, or that it fell under the exceptions to the abortion laws of Texas.

Stephen Billy, Vice President of State for Susan B. Anthony’s Pro-Life America in a Wednesday media call said: “The Democrats are pushing to expand access to abortion. They use these difficult cases to gain political leverage to pass new laws which would increase the number abortions available.”
Billy continued, “The President will use tragic, heartbreaking circumstances to further a political agenda, because he’s tied to progressive left-wingers in the party and to abortion advocates, who don’t want to limit abortions at any stage of pregnancy.”
Jamie Dangers of SBA Pro-Life America predicted that Biden would use the State of the Union address to “advance the disinformation campaign driven by the pro-abortion media and the industry, which claim that states that are pro-life don’t allow medical emergencies.
Dangers stated that “that lie is deceptive, and it’s so dangerous for women and girls.” “We continue calling on the Biden Administration to stop propagating this lie and to stop deliberately conflating serious medical emergencies in pregnancy with actual abortions,” Dangers said.
Kate Cox, the guest of Dr. Jill Biden at tomorrow’s State of the Union, is in our hearts. Dangers said, referring to the baby’s Trisomy 18, that it was heartbreaking to be given such a difficult diagnosis. “But unfortunately, the president and pro abortion Democrats have used her story and her pain to use this tragic situation for political gain and spread more disinformation and fears.”
Since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling in June 2022, which overturned Roe, Democrats and pro-abortion groups, as well as the pro-abortion press, have caused confusion by lumping in elective abortions with birth control, miscarriages, or spontaneous abortions (also known medically).
Ingrid Skop M.D. FACOG, vice president and director of medical affairs for Charlotte Lozier Institute on the call, pointed out that a research study reviewed by attorneys found no state where abortion restrictions prohibited life-saving treatment.
“If a condition is present that can cause death, no law requires the emergency to be imminent.” So as long as it’s something that a doctor could foresee causing a woman to die or lose kidney function or something like that, the doctor is given the opportunity to intervene, to use his reasonable medical judgment,” said Skop, a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist who served for over 25 years in private practice in San Antonio, Texas, where she delivered more than 5,000 babies.
As we have seen in the media, many doctors are unaware of this. She said that pro-abortion organizations don’t tell doctors that they are able to intervene and that they can continue practicing the same way as before.
“…Due to confusion, I am seeing that in Texas these women are not even admitted to hospital. They are sent home. They are told to call their doctor on Monday and not given antibiotics. In many cases, the adverse effects are real. The law does not recommend that. “The law recommends that doctors continue to provide high-quality care. But because of the confusion, doctors do not understand and bad things happen,” she said.
Billy cited South Dakota as a good example of Republicans’ efforts to combat abortion misinformation, and to educate health care providers about the treatment options available to pregnant women with health-threatening or even life-threatening conditions who live in states that restrict abortion.
The bill was sent to the governor this week. Kristi Noem (R)’s desk, which requires “creation of informational videos and other materials explaining the state’s abort law and medical treatment for a woman who is pregnant and experiencing life-threatening conditions or health-threatening conditions”.
Billy explained, “That’s an attempt to fight back the politically motivated confusion created by the abortion industry.”
Democrats have also seized on the recent Alabama Supreme Court ruling that embryos frozen are considered unborn under state law. According to reports, at least three clinics have stopped offering IVF in Alabama since the ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court.
According to The Hill, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-VA, will bring Elizabeth Carr, who is the first American to have been born through IVF. Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-IL, a woman with two daughters who had IVF, and who sponsored a trojan horse bill that was recently stalled, is bringing Dr. Amanda Adeleye.
The Alabama Supreme Court case centers on whether or not the Center for Reproductive Medicine is liable for the Wrongful Death of a Minor Act, after a patient was accessed, dropped and destr
