Left wing staging nationwide ‘No Kings’ protests to counter Trump’s military parade

Conservative Response to Nationwide Liberal Protests Against Trump’s Military Parade
As President Trump gears up to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. military with a grand parade in Washington this Saturday, liberal factions are orchestrating widespread protests across the nation. Dubbed the “No Kings” event by its organizers, over 200 leftist groups including labor unions and the American Federation of Teachers are set to participate in what they describe as a “mass mobilization” against what they perceive as autocratic tendencies by the Trump administration.
Organizers of the event accuse President Trump and his officials of numerous offences, claiming, “They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services.” These protests strategically coincide with President Trump’s military parade, evidently aiming to counter-celebrate the event.
The anti-Trump sentiment appears to be inflamed by the administration’s forceful measures against illegal immigration, which have recently ignited violent outbreaks in several cities including Los Angeles. President Trump, however, remains undeterred by these planned protests, emphasizing the democratic processes of his administration. During a bill signing event in the East Room, he stated, “I don’t feel like a king. I have to go through Hell to get stuff approved. We’re not a king at all.”
Escalation in Los Angeles and Presidential Measures
Earlier in the week, the situation escalated with riots in Los Angeles, leading to President Trump’s decision to dispatch the National Guard and Marines to restore order. The President remarked on the necessity of this action, suggesting that Los Angeles “would have burned to the ground,” without his intervention. These measures highlight the administration’s commitment to law and order in the face of chaos incited by opponents of immigration law enforcement.
Financial Backing and Organizational Support for Protests

Investigation into the organization behind the “No Kings” protests reveals significant funding from some well-known liberal benefactors. Indivisible, a primary coordinator of the event, has notably received upwards of $7.5 million from George Soros since 2017. Additionally, full-page ads in the New York Times promoting the protests have been funded by Christy Walton, a Democrat donor and Walmart heiress. The event also enjoys support from various prominent leftist groups such as Greenpeace, Human Rights Campaign, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood, SEIU, and the Sierra Club.
Despite the turbulent context of recent anti-ICE riots, organizers of the “No Kings” event have claimed that their protests are intended to be peaceful. The nation waits to see the true nature of these protests and whether they will respect public peace or devolve into violence, as has occurred in the past with similar anti-administration demonstrations.
As this significant date approaches, President Trump remains focused on honoring the longstanding tradition and valor of the U.S. military, undistracted by the dissent orchestrated by opposition groups.
