No Bump for Biden Following State of the Union

The Federalist reports that four polls conducted after his speech showed that most Americans did not like President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address.
59% of registered voters said that Biden’s speech divided the country, rather than unifying it. 41% disagreed.
Biden’s speech did not do much for his ratings in other polls including YouGov and Yahoo.
FiveThirtyEight’s average polling shows Biden’s approval has dropped from 38.1% to 38%. The Economist/YouGov survey showed little change (approval/disapproval ratios of 42% to 56%) on March 3-5 and a ratio of 42% to 55 % on March 10-12).

In the days following Biden’s address, a Yahoo News/YouGov poll conducted showed that former President Donald Trump was statistically tied with Biden in a head to head matchup. Today, they remain tied.
Before his speech, only 40% of Americans thought Biden did a good job as president. Now, the numbers are 39% and respectively 55%.
