Speaker McCarthy Indicates Republicans Are Moving Toward Impeachment Inquiry Of Biden

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said during an interview this week that the Republican-controlled chamber is moving closer toward an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden over allegations that he accepted millions of dollars in bribes from foreign countries.

McCarthy’s comments come after Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-IA, released a FBI-generated FD-1023 last week. In it, a human confidential sources told the FBI Burisma CEO Mykola Zochevsky said he had been “coerced,” by then Vice President Biden and son to pay millions of dollars as bribes for their assistance in pressing Ukraine to fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma.

McCarthy said to Sean Hannity, Fox News’ host. “The FBI did not tell the IRS about this.” McCarthy told Sean Hannity, Fox News host, that the FBI had kept this information from the IRS.

McCarthy pointed out that the alleged bribes paid to the Bidens came from countries such as Ukraine, Russia and China, because these countries suffer from public corruption.

McCarthy added: “I think we’ll follow this to the end.” This will rise to the level of an impeachment investigation, as the Constitution dictates. We need to find out the answers to these issues.”

Devon Archer (48), Hunter Biden’s former bestie and director of Burisma is scheduled to testify in front of the House Oversight Committee. Devon Archer will say that Hunter Biden called his father roughly 20 times while Hunter was talking to foreign business partners or investors.

James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee (R-KY), said: “We look forward to hearing Devon Archer’s account of all the meetings Joe Biden had with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners while he served as vice president. This included on speakerphone.”
