On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to prohibit the chemical and surgical mutilation (also known as “gender affirming health care” by progressive ideologues) of children.

The act will reduce federal funding to medical institutions that offer puberty blocking agents, hormone therapy, and surgical mutilation to minors.

“Across the nation, medical professionals are mutilating and sterilizing an increasing number of impressionable kids under the radical and false belief that adults can alter a child’s sexual orientation through a series irreversible medical procedures. Trump said in his order that this dangerous trend would be a stain upon the history of our Nation and must stop.

“Uncountable children regret being mutilated, and they begin to understand the horrific tragedy of not being able to have children or to breastfeed their children. He added that the medical bills of these young people could rise over their lifetimes as they face lifelong medical problems, a losing battle with their bodies and, tragically sterilization. The United States will not support, fund, sponsor or promote the so-called “transition” of a child to another sex. It will also enforce any laws prohibiting or limiting these life-altering and destructive procedures.

The order of President Trump requires that the Department of Health and Human Services encourage practices to “improve health of minors who have gender dysphoria or rapid-onset gender confusion or other identity-based mutilation, or seek chemical or surgical mutilation” rather than encouraging children to undergo hormonal therapy or gender transition to treat gender disorder.

In addition, each executive department or agency must make sure that any medical institution that receives a grant for research or education ends the mutilation and exploitation of children.

In addition, the order issued a “special notice” protecting whistleblowers that take actions to ensure compliance with this order. This includes Dr. Eithan Haim who, in 2023, exposed Texas Children’s Hospital’s practices of performing transgender surgeries on minors. The Department of Justice of Donald Trump permanently dismissed Haim’s legal claim on Friday.

According to Trump’s Executive Order, the Attorney General will “end deception”. . . The law will not allow any entity to “mislead the public regarding the long-term effects of chemical or surgical mutilation”. It will also, in consultation with Congress, “work to draft, suggest, and promote legislation enacting a private right to action for children, and parents of children, whose healthy bodies have been damaged by medical practitioners practicing chemical and surgical mutilation.”

The order Trump issued on Tuesday was just the latest of a series of orders he has made in his first few days as president, including attempts to destroy federal DEI program, end government censorship, reverse the mandate for electric vehicles, and others.
