Elon Musk’s theoretical third party would get 8% of vote in 2026 Midterms if held today: Poll

Musk Considers Launching “The America Party” Amid Feud with Trump
In the wake of a public confrontation with President Donald Trump concerning a significant spending bill, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has proposed the idea of establishing a new political party, tentatively named “The America Party.” Although their dispute has ceased, Musk and Trump have yet to fully mend the friendship that developed last year.
Poll Shows Limited Support for Musk’s Proposed Third Party
A recent survey conducted by Napolitan News, which was carried out virtually on Monday and included 1,000 registered voters, reveals that only 8% would cast their vote for Musk’s potential party or any third-party candidates in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections. This is in stark contrast to the stronger support for traditional parties, with 35% of respondents backing Republicans and an equal percentage supporting Democrats. Furthermore, 18% of the electorate remains undecided.
The poll indicates a margin of error of +/- 3.1%. Despite the media buzz surrounding Musk’s political aspirations, it seems the concept of “The America Party” has yet to gain substantial traction among American voters.
