FBI Turns Over Intel on Alleged Chinese 2020 Election Interference Plot

FBI Director Uncovers CCP’s Alleged Interference in 2020 U.S. Election
FBI Director Kash Patel recently disclosed that he has handed over critical documents to Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, detailing severe allegations of interference by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. Patel revealed this information through a post on the social platform X.
“The FBI has located documents which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election, including allegations of interference by the CCP,” Patel shared on X. “I have immediately declassified the material and turned the documents over to Chairman Grassley for further review.”
This announcement was linked to a report by Just the News which shed light on the possibility that the Chinese were involved in manufacturing counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses to potentially manipulate mail-in voting processes to favor then-Democrat nominee Joe Biden.
Uninvestigated Intelligence Reports and Senate Concerns
These intelligence reports, dating from August 2020, although critical, were allegedly overlooked and not pursued by intelligence agencies. The matter grabbed the attention of then-FBI Director Christopher Wray who, in testimony, claimed unawareness of foreign interference before the 2020 election where Biden emerged victorious over incumbent President Donald Trump.

Senator Grassley has expressed serious concerns regarding the dismissal of these intelligence reports rather than conducting a thorough investigation to validate the claims.
Evidence of Counterfeit Operations
Confidential informants who had access to the documents claimed that in 2020, the Chinese government engaged in the creation and distribution of fake U.S. driver’s licenses. This large-scale fabrication was purportedly aimed at allowing Chinese residents in the U.S. to assume false identities and cast fraudulent mail-in votes in favor of Biden.
Despite the overshadowing of these reports, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers did intercept around 20,000 counterfeit licenses around the same time the intelligence report surfaced. Additionally, a significant seizure of 19,888 counterfeit driver’s licenses occurred at Chicago’s airport up until June 2020, mostly originating from Hong Kong and China, and lesser numbers from South Korea and the UK, as reported by Fox News 5 in New York.
Further compounding these incidents, CBP apprehended thousands of fake licenses and counterfeit luxury items in shipments at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport just last month, highlighting an ongoing problem.
This developing story signals profound implications for the integrity of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election and raises urgent questions about the depth of foreign interference not just from China but potentially other foreign entities as well. With the documents now in the hands of Chairman Grassley, further investigation into these serious allegations is anticipated.
