What would left-wing politics do without MAGA How would they scare voters to support liberals?

They’ll surely come up with something. It’s too easy to blame MAGA. MAGA will remain the scapegoat until another group can be found.

Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, accused the Conservative Party for turning its back on Ukraine after a unanimous vote of the Conservatives to reject an update to Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement.

The Conservatives, for their part, said that they still supported Ukraine. However, the prime minister sneaked a carbon-tax into the deal, and every Conservative member of parliament voted against the new agreement.

Trudeau called it “an absurd explanation.”

Trudeau stated that “the real story is a rise in right-wing MAGA-influenced American thinking which has caused Canadian Conservatives – who used to defend Ukraine as fiercely as I did – to turn their backs against something Ukraine desperately needs at this time.”

The leader of the Conservative Party, Pierre Poilievre, seemed to be a bit confused.

“We voted to stop Justin Trudeau from forcing a carbon-tax into the pre-existing deal.” Poilievre, a Conservative, said that Conservatives “understand how damaging the carbon tax is for Canadians.” It’s led to two million Canadians going to food banks every month and seven million Canadians eating too little to be healthy.

Poilievre, speaking to CBC News, said that Trudeau was “pathologically obsessed” with the carbon taxes. He would use the situation to impose the tax ideology to the poor Ukrainians.

Trudeau has been scaring Canadians with the MAGA bogeyman ever since the 2022 “Freedom Convoys”, which shut down some commerce between Canada and the U.S. Trudeau then used the “Emergencies Act,” a draconian law, to disperse the protests. The protests in question were all 100% Canadian and had nothing whatsoever to do with MAGA or Trump.

Trudeau plays his “Blame-MAGA” card whenever it is convenient.

The Ukraine has a carbon fee since 2011. It is currently in the process to modify the tax in order to become a member of the EU.

Trudeau blamed MAGA last summer for the Muslims who protested curriculums in Canadian schools. Parents should be able to monitor what their children are learning. Trudeau dismissed the Muslims out of hand.

Politically, Canada is very different from the U.S. There are some truths, however, that transcend national boundaries.
