Hundreds March for ‘Intifada’ in NYC Hours After Attacks in New Orleans, Las Vegas
On New Year’s Day, hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched through New York City for the “intifada”, blocking Sixth Avenue, Manhattan, just hours after terror attacks in New Orleans, Louisiana and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Times of Israel published:
The attendees chanted, “We will honor our martyrs” and “Gaza you make us very proud.” They also carried signs saying “Zionism is cancer,” No war on Iran,” or “End US aid to Israel.”
They chanted “There’s only one solution – Intifada Revolution”, a refrain that is often heard at anti Israel rallies in the US. The Arabic word “Intifada” means “uprising.” It is often associated with the Second Intifada – a period in Israel’s early 2000s that was marked by terror attacks and suicide bombings.
