Oklahoma Is Set To Debut A First-Of-It’s-Kind School Choice Program

Oklahoma is creating a tax credit-based initiative that will fund education outside of the public school system. Traditional school choice programs usually use state-administered school vouchers.

All families have the option to receive a refundable tax credit through the state school choice program. This credit can be used for private and homeschooling, as well as increasing public school funding. Teachers also get raises and reimbursements. These laws make it possible to tax.
