The growing number of migrants coming through the U.S. – Mexico border has caused the police stations in Chicago to be forced to turn into homeless shelters.

On Twitter, pictures show people sleeping on the floor in the lobby of police stations.

Fox News’ Matt Finn tweeted that his sources told him that officers sympathize for the migrants, but keeping them in police stations was not a solution.

Lori Lightfoot, the incoming Chicago mayor (D), sent a letter (to Greg Abbott (R), Texas Governor Greg Abbott, begging him not to send any more migrants to be processed and released because Chicago is already overcrowded. Abbott responded that the only solution to both of their problems was for President Joe Biden to reverse his open border agenda.
