Dozens of Radical Protestors Storm NYC Subways Over the Death of a Criminal with 42 Prior Arrests
New York City was rocked by radical and progressive protests after Jordan Neely – a homeless man who had been erratic and hostile – was defended by a veteran U.S. Marine aged 24.
As they jumped over the subway tracks, protesters shouted “No justice, No peace!” “Abolish police.”
The protestors threatened to “tear down the city” if the Marine was not aggressively prosecuted.
The protestors then became violent, forcing police to arrest several protestors and wrestle them to the ground.
As law enforcement worked to ensure the safety of those trying to travel from one location to another, several other protestors were heard shouting “They are lynching” us.
The Marine, Daniel Penny held Neely down in a chokehold and killed him after what the police claim was an altercation that occurred on a Northbound Subway.
Witnesses claim that Neely was having a mental breakdown on the train. He was yelling, pacing and shouting when Penny tackled him and put him in a chokehold.
Penny’s attorney said that he had “never intended harm to Mr. Neely, and could not foresee his untimely demise… When Mr. Neely aggressively threatened Daniel Penny and other passengers, Daniel and others acted to defend themselves until help arrived.”
Witnesses who witnessed the altercation of Neely with Penny stated that the homeless man acted aggressively, demonstrating violent actions.
Witness Juan Alberto Vazquez stated that “He started to yell violent language and said, ‘I’m not going to care if he dies, or if he goes to jail. I have no food, nor any drink, so I’m finished'”.
Penny’s attorneys used this opportunity to discuss the mental health crisis that is plaguing Democrat cities.
