One man died protecting his family against the gunfire.

In a press release, the campaign stated that “President Trump will return to Butler for the first time since the assassin shot him on July 13th. He was saved by what was recognized around the world as an act divine providence.”

“President Trump’s return to Butler is a tribute to American spirit. We in America don’t let evil monsters such as that assassin get the final word. We rally and persevere every time we are attacked or face hardship. We rebuilt our skyscrapers taller after terrorists destroyed them. We come together when our communities are devastated by fires, storms, or other natural disasters. When a gunman attacked our democracy, he tried to stop this movement. President Trump, along with tens and thousands of proud citizens will return to that site and celebrate a vision of the future of America in an unprecedented event.

“After two failed attempts on his own life in the last nine weeks, Trump is more determined to complete his mission than ever. On July 13th he shot a bullet in the Butler field for democracy. And on November 5th he will save our democracy. “With the help of amazing citizens of Pennsylvania, and all over our country, we will make America stronger, more free, and greater than before.

In the weeks that followed the first assassination, Secret Service failures were revealed. A Senate committee revealed on Tuesday that the Secret Service had been aware of the presence of a “suspicious” person using a rangefinder for 27 minutes near the building where Thomas Crooks fired his gun, but failed to alert anyone.
