House Democrats will air TV ads to help Altman in NJ-7

New Jersey Globe confirms that the House Majority PAC is set to begin airing television ads tomorrow in support of Democrat Sue Altman in her campaign for Congress in New Jersey 7th district.

This week, the group will spend approximately $4 million to assist Altman. $1.8 million of that amount will be spent on broadcast television and $200,000 for digital.

National Democrats faced significant pressures and lobbying in order to support Altman. He is in a tight race with Tom Kean Jr., a freshman Republican Rep. from Westfield.

Altman has raised over $5 million without the help of HMP or the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Bo Snerdley with New Journey, here with a dire warning. We could easily lose the Black voters who voted for Trump if we take them for granted like the Democrat Party did for nearly 70 years. If you want to see Black voters support America First Policies in 2025 and turn out for Republican candidates like Winsome Sears, then we need to start the work today.

Joe Biden won the 7th district, one of 18 Republican districts in America that Joe Biden held.

A Monmouth University independent poll released last Thursday shows that the race between Altman vs Kean is too close to call.

Altman published an internal survey almost two weeks earlier showing that Kean was losing by only two percentage points. The poll showed 47% to 45%. The poll also showed a tie in the presidential race. It was argued that Altman has more room to grow and many voters do not know Kean’s greatest weaknesses.

Former Rep. Tom Malinowski, D-Ringoes, who was defeated by Kean by three points two years ago, accused HMP and DCCC for making the same “standard mistake” of ignoring NJ-7.

The Congressional Leadership Fund (a super PAC affiliated with House Republicans) has spent $2.9M to support Kean through attack ads aimed directly at Altman.
