Anti-Trump figures, Democrats also questioning Biden’s mental fitness for office

In recent months, not only Republicans but also former supporters of President Trump have expressed concerns about President Biden’s mental health. Mainstream news organizations, long-time Democrats, and anti-Trump commentators have all voiced their concern.

Bill Ackman is a billionaire and a long-time Democratic Party donor. He recently brought attention to a video in which former President Obama appears to be guiding Biden from the stage during a recent donor event.

“Some people look old at 81, while others are young, vibrant, and impressive.” Biden is 81 years old, while Warren Buffett is 93. Biden, an 81-year-old man who is unable to stay focused or present at a G7 Conference. Who should lead the free world in the next five-year period? A president shouldn’t have to be led from the stage with his arm around him or by hand. This is not the image we want to project as a nation of strength and leadership,” Ackman wrote on X Sunday.

“Look what’s happening in the world.” Global chaos has been caused by the perception that America’s leadership is weak. Weak leadership has been a serious threat to the United States for a long time. Ackman said that the Democratic Party was destroying itself when it endorsed Biden for a 2nd term. This is real-life Emperor’s new clothes. It is not a book for children or a joke. “The world is in grave danger, and Biden’s second term would be a grave threat for global security and prosperity.”

Ackman then stated, “Biden’s unfit for president right now and is incontrovertible to serve another term.”

Cenk Ulygur, a progressive journalist and host of “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Monday, criticized Democrats for failing to recognize Biden’s issues with mental fitness. He said that “we all have ears and eyes.”

He said, “The guy’s in terrible, horrible shape. And if he has Alzheimer’s, they become more stubborn.” “What if the man digs in and says, ‘I’m not going to care’, and his mind actually is affected by these ailments we can see?”

Uygur said that both Biden and Trump are “blithering idiots.”

Biden’s White House has taken the offensive in the face of reports that the president is mentally declining. Polls show that a large number of Americans are concerned about the president’s age. In February, an overwhelming 73 percent said that Biden was not old enough to serve.

In a report issued that month, the Department of Justice’s Special Counsel called him “an elderly man with a bad memory” after an investigation into the handling of classified information dating back to the time he served in the Senate. This characterization helped him avoid being charged by Special Counsel Roberthur.

The Wall Street Journal reported this month, citing 45 interviews conducted over several months, that Biden “appears to be slower now,” and “someone with both good and bad moments.”

The Journal report has prompted a furious response from the White House, its allies and the media. They have branded it a GOP-led attack piece, just as Hur’s allegations were rejected by many Biden supporters. Republicans aren’t alone in making such claims.

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod said in February that the issue of age and mental fitness was a “problem” for the President.

“There are certain things that reinforce a harmful meme out there. The president’s age is the main meme. He told CNN that it was a major barrier. “People don’t give him credit” for his achievements. He is blamed for all that happens, and it’s mainly because of their feelings towards his age. It is not a good idea to tell a reporter that “That’s your opinion.” There is a lot of research on this.”

Biden, at 81 years old, is the oldest president in office. His critics claim that his age has affected him cognitively. If he’s re-elected, he will be 86 years old when his second term is over.

According to the New York Post, liberal comedian Jon Stewart is a frequent critic Trump, the presumed GOP nominee. Stewart said that Biden “shouldn’t be president,” because he was “so f—ing old.”

Mark Cuban is another staunch Trump critic who has stated that Biden and Trump will “both have senior moments” and “both will misremember, forget and have physical frailties.”

Sara Haines, co-host of “The View”, argued that it was unfair to tell voters “close your eyes” to concerns about ageing and vitality.

Haines stated that “Voters have concerns and by telling them not to be concerned or to listen to the Republican narrative, you are literally saying, ‘Close Your Eyes to What You’re Seeing,’ or making them feel guilty for raising something. I don’t believe it’s fair to say to them to close their eye to what they’re currently seeing.”

Alyssa Griffin, the co-host, who was a Trump employee but is now an outspoken critic, said that Hur’s report, and Biden’s fiery press conference that followed in February, showed that Democrats should nominate another candidate. She suggested that Vice President Harris be the best candidate to fill the void left by Hur’s report on Biden’s memory lapses.

Bill Maher, a liberal comedian, has called on Democrats to bench Biden before the 2024 elections. He even sold “Ruth Bader Biden”, merchandise that featured Biden dressed up as the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg refused to step down under the Obama administration, allowing Trump to replace her in 2020 with Justice Amy Coney Barrett after her death.

Maher told Democratic strategist James Carville that last year, “He’ll be Ruth Bader Biden – the Ruth Bader Ginsburgs of the presidency.” It’s not good looking.

Maher had told Biden earlier this year to accept his age, and to stop “denying the age thing”.

Maher told his audience to “lean in and lean in as if you were eating soup.” “And just say it!” “Yes, I am bad at names and I walk around like a toddler in a diaper full of poop, but I do believe in democracy.”

Charlamagne the God, a media mogul, has said that Biden also “doesn’t look full of energy”
