Biden Calls for Congress to ‘Pass Commonsense Gun Safety Laws’ After Wisconsin School Shooting

Joe Biden, in response to reports about a shooting that occurred at Abundant life Christian School, Madison, Wisconsin, called on Congress to pass “commonsense gun safety legislation.”

Biden, in a White House press release, highlighted that his administration “took aggressive action to fight the gun violence epidemic,” and “passed gun safety legislation of the most significance for nearly 30 years.”

Biden made his statement after an Abundant Life Christian School shooter killed at least one teacher, and at least one student on Monday morning.

“My administration has taken aggressive actions to combat the epidemic of gun violence,” Biden said. Biden stated, “We passed the most important gun safety legislation in over 30 years. I took more executive actions to reduce gun violence in the past than any president in history. I also created the first White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention.” “But there is more to be done.” Congress must pass sensible gun safety laws, including universal background checks. A national red-flag law. “A ban on assault rifles and high-capacity magazine.”

George Soros’ Goons came to my District

George Soros sent his goons into my district to hold a fake townhall meeting. This is Rep. Jack Bergman. They didn’t invite me, but they used an empty chair as a prop while they attacked my support for DOGE and America First policies. If you’re tired of Soros-funded leftists attempting to sabotage America’s future, then please help me keep up the fight in Congress.

Biden said in his statement he and Jill Biden “prayed for all of the victims today including the teacher, teen student and those who suffered injuries.”

According to CNN and Associated Press reports, which cited a “law enforcement official” as a reliable source, the alleged shooter was a 17-year old girl.

The AP cited its source as “a law-enforcement official.”

CNN reported that “the shooter was also dead and a woman, according to law enforcement officials.”

Fox 13 Memphis reported six other injuries as a result.

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes told the outlet that two of the six injured people were “in critical conditions with life-threatening injury,” and four others had “nonlife-threatening injuries.”

“I feel a bit dismayed right now, as we are so close to the Christmas season.” Barnes told the outlet that “every child and every person inside of that building are victims, and will remain victims forever.” “We have to try and piece together exactly what happened.”
