Zeldin claimed that his team discovered $20 billion of taxpayer’s money “parked” at an external financial institution.

Lee Zeldin, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), said on Wednesday that his team had located $20 billion dollars in tax money that Biden’s administration deliberately wasted.

Zeldin, citing a December video, said that “an extremely disturbing video” circulated in the past two months, showing a Biden EPA appointee talking of how they were rushing to spend billions of tax dollars before Inauguration day. “The ‘gold bar’ was tax dollars, and ‘tossing off the Titanic” meant that the Biden administration had no doubt they were wasting them.”

Zeldin stated that the EPA plans to retrieve the “gold bars,” found “parked” at a financial institution outside of the United States. He does not name the institution.

He stated that this was “the first scheme of its kind” in EPA’s history. It was designed to obligate the entire money in a hurry with less oversight before Inauguration day.

Zeldin stated that “there are no grounds to suspect wrongdoing on the part of the bank,” however, he believes an agreement “must be terminated immediately” and the money returned.

He said that the EPA must take responsibility for these funds and that his team would “review each penny that’s gone out the front.”

Zeldin stated that the days of recklessly dumping boatloads in cash on far-left activists groups under the guise of climate justice and environmental justice are over. The American public deserves an accountable and transparent government, unlike what has transpired in the past four years.

He said he will refer this matter to his inspector general and work with the Department of Justice in order to help President Donald Trump regain control.

“Now, we’ll get them back in control of the government while we take next steps.” Zeldin concluded the video by saying, “As President Trump promised, we will usher in a Golden Age of American Success for citizens of all races, religions, colors and creeds.”
