Trump Backs Musk On Immigration Visas: ‘It’s A Great Program’

Musk has argued for the need to bring in top engineering talent, to keep America at the top of its game. He also believes that fraud must be eliminated from H-1B visa programs.

Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, said that he shared the same view on H-1B Visas with Elon Musk on Saturday amid heated debate online over the use and abuse of the program.

“I have always supported visas. I’ve always liked visas.” “That’s why they exist,” Trump said to The New York Post. “I have a lot of H-1B visas in my properties.” I have always believed in H-1B. I’ve used it several times. “It’s a wonderful program.”

The controversy began to slowly build at the beginning of the week, after Trump appointed Sriram Krishnan as Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Krishnan was born in India and came to the United States with an L-1 visa. He became a US citizen in 2016. He held senior positions at major U.S. technology companies.

Ever since the serpent entered the Garden of Eden, evil has fought to overcome good. What we’ve seen infecting America these last few years is an extension of that evil. The Coalition for Jewish Values is fighting all these fronts—from Pennsylvania Avenue—to main street—to anywhere common sense and Biblical Values are under attack. Will you stand with us in this fight?.

Some expressed concerns about Krishnan’s pro immigration views, while a fringe group made racist remarks against Indians.

Musk wrote on X, “Sriram didn’t deserve it all!” “He is such a good guy. I hope that this [pierces] hidden racism in America and leads to an improved America.

Musk stated that if “hateful and unrepentant racism” is not eliminated from the GOP, “they will be the downfall for the Republican Party.”

Vivek Ramaswamy, who posted a 100 million-view post on X on Thursday, said that American culture is to blame. Ramaswamy claimed that top tech companies hire foreign-born and first-generation engineers more than ‘native Americans’ because Americans tend to be mediocre due to their upbringing.

Many of Trump’s most ardent supporters, including some who had supported Ramaswamy in the past, were outraged by this post.

Musk, a South African who moved to the United States, claimed that the H-1B Visa Program was the reason he arrived in America and became American. He added that this program has been crucial to growing America’s leading companies.

Musk wrote on X: “Anyone – of any race or creed – who came to America to work like hell and contribute to this nation will always have my respect.” “America is a land of opportunity and freedom.” “Fight with all your strength to keep it this way!”

I will always respect anyone – regardless of race, religion or nationality – who has come to America to work hard to make a contribution to this country.

America is a land of opportunity and freedom. Keep it that way by fighting with all your might!

Musk stated that America became great over the past 150 years “because of its meritocracy.”

He added, “I will fight until my last drop to make sure that this land of opportunity and freedom remains.”

Musk has repeatedly refuted false information about his opinions about the H-1B Visa Program online. Some accounts have posted fake screenshots that appear to be posts from Musk, but are in fact fraudulent.

Musk stated that the H-1B program should only be reserved for those who have a skill set that is lacking in the domestic market. Musk also acknowledged that the system was being abused, and that fraud must be stopped.

He said that every government program, including H1-B, has some level of fraud. “This fraud and incompetence needs to be fixed across the entire government.”

Musk said that the U.S. must bring in “the best 0.1%” of engineering talent, which is “essential to America’s continued success.”

“This is the same as bringing in all the Jokics and Wembys of the world to your entire team (which is mainly American!) He said, “We’re going to win the NBA.” “Thinking about America as a professional sports team who has won for a long period of time and want to continue winning is the correct mental construct.”

Musk stated that he supported the views of Stephen Miller, Trump’s former top immigration advisor from his first term, who will be serving as White House deputy chief for policy during Trump’s next term.

Musk responded to an account which posted a screenshot from a previous Miller post by posting “Miller’s just saying that H1B visas should be given on the basis merit and not randomly or for cheap labor,” Musk wrote on X. “What’s the problem with that?”

Miller’s only point is that H1B visas should be awarded on merit and not just to obtain cheap labor. What’s the problem?
