Trump Orders ‘All Remaining’ Biden-Appointed U.S. Attorneys to Be Terminated

Donald Trump announced that he has instructed all “remaining” U.S. Attorneys who were appointed by former President Joe Biden be terminated.
Trump said in a Truth Social post that “the Department of Justice was politicized more than ever before” over the past four-year period. “Therefore I have ordered the termination of ALL remaining U.S. Attorneys. We need to ‘clean up’ immediately and restore trust. America’s Golden Age MUST have a fair Justice System – THAT BEGINS NOW!”
Trump’s remarks come as it was reported that the Trump administration had “fired over 20 immigration lawyers” from the Department of Justice who were “recently appointed” to serve as pro-migration judges at the nation’s Immigration Courts.
A Department of Justice official said that the Trump administration had fired more than a dozen prosecutors, who previously worked on Jack Smith’s special counsel cases against Trump. The official stated that there was no confidence in “these officials” to “faithfully implement” Trump’s agenda.

The Wall Street Journal cited a Justice Department official as saying that Acting Attorney-General James McHenry had taken the drastic measure because “he didn’t believe these officials could faithfully implement President Obama’s agenda due to their significant role in prosecuting him.”
Breitbart’s Wendell Husebo reported previously that Trump told reporters at the Oval Office the weaponization of his name by the DOJ and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) under the Biden Administration had played a role in his reelection, and “probably” helped him win.
