America Last: Kamala Announces $157 Million for Lebanon

Vice President Kamala Harris has announced that the United States is donating a large amount of humanitarian aid to Lebanon, as American hurricane survivors are left without water and electricity.

According to Harris the money will be used to address “needs”, such as food and shelter, water protection, sanitation, and shelter for civilians who are affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country.

Americans in North Carolina, however, have been without clean water, telephone service and electricity for nearly a full week.

In the last year, the U.S. gave more than $385 millions to Lebanon.
