Bombshell Report Claims That Biden’s Education Department Spent $1 Billion on DEI

Parents Defending Education, a parental rights group, conducted a study that found the Department of Education of President Joe Biden spent at least one billion dollars on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives (DEI) since 2021.

Researchers found that $490 millions was spent on DEI hiring, $343 on DEI programs and $170 on mental health resources related to DEI.

The study highlights that several Education Department grants are “geared towards advancing race-based teacher recruitment, hiring and training including the use race-based affinity group.”

PDE also awarded many grants for youth activism programs used in ethnic studies classes on the far left:

The only groups or individuals who benefitted from the huge amount of grant money were the universities, administrators and DEI consultants at the expense to children’s education. Staley said that this needs to be changed by putting children’s education at the forefront, rather than prioritizing DEI and race-based policies.
