In protest of abortion bans all across the country, liberal men are having vasectomies in record amounts. This likely means that there will be fewer abortions.

In the six months since the Supreme Court’s summer ruling, reports have surfaced indicating an increase in vasectomies. Reports began to surface after Texas was declared the first state to ban abortions in 2021. Some reports indicate that there has been an increase in vasectomies by 15%.

NPR reported that these numbers have been increasing nationwide since then. It is a good thing that vasectomies are performed by men who are perfectly happy to have their child killed in an abortion.

Doctors now say that there has been an increase of 100-200% in vasectomies since Dobbs.

Yahoo News reported that Dr. Esgar Guarin (co-founder of SimpleVas Medical Clinic) said there was a 100% increase in vasectomies since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

Guarin, a Des Moines doctor who is trained in maternal, infant, and reproductive health, said that male patients became more interested in the procedure after Roe was overturned in Dobbs.

He said, “Within 48 hours, 50% of patients we normally sign up for in a month were signed up within 48 hours.”

Goldstein stated that exactly the same thing is happening right now. “We have seen a doubling to tripling in vasectomies overall, and they marked an increase in the number reverses since Roe V. Wade.”

Doctors observe a slight rise in patients under 30 who have no children and are seeking a vasectomy. The greatest increase is seen in men between mid- and late 30s.

Guarin stated that there was a rise in contraception among 35- and 37-year-old men who decided not to have children in the past, but did nothing to change it.

Planned Parenthood’s abortion business now has 14 states less where it can terminate babies’ lives through abortions. However, they are doing more vasectomies.

Dr. Margaret Baum, of Planned Parenthood, stated that “Since Dobbs’ decision, we have seen an increase in the number of male-bodied individuals coming and requesting this [vasectomies] service [vasectomies].” “We performed 142 vasectomies by 2021. We’ve already done nearly 200 vasectomies in 2022 this year.

Ironically, America’s largest abortion company is now performing vasectomies to prevent abortions rather than ending the lives of pre-born children.

Planned Parenthood’s St. Louis clinic used to offer abortions. However, NPR recently visited the clinic and found that it was offering a free vasectomy clinic at three locations in Missouri for three days. Planned Parenthood will charge up to $1,000, plus follow-up care, for any procedure that is not covered by insurance.

Pro-life advocates have been promoting the idea that women should make decisions before they become pregnant, rather than having an abortion after. This is what pro-life advocates have advocated for decades. Abortion supporters had to reverse Roe in order to do something about it.
