AOC blasted on Twitter for dancing at hecklers: ‘She’s mocking her constituents’

Twitter users were quick to share a viral clip featuring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D.N.Y.

Protestors stormed Ocasio-Cortez’s Queens town hall, shouting at her, and holding signs. Ocasio Cortez, who was sitting on the stage pretended to dance to the music while protestors chanted “AOC must go”, was accosted by protestors.

Finally, the majority of the room turned against the protestors and Ocasio Cortez was allowed to speak.

Social media users shared this clip to show Ocasio Cortez “mocking her constituents” in what they perceived as humiliating displays.

Chadwick Moore, Spectator contributing editor, wrote that “She’s mocking Her Constituents because she hasn’t lived in her District, they didn’t give her power, and she doesn’t answer to them.”

John Cardillo, conservative commentator, commented that “Wow! They’ve turned against her like a pack rabid dogs.”

Brandon Morse, RedState deputy managing Editor, wrote that he had created the dance “I fooled all of you and got my bag”

Ned Ryun, a conservative activist, tweeted: “From the French Revolution, Robespierre, to now this Woke Revolution, and AOC, the endings are usually the same: The Revolution ends up consuming itself.” Sometimes with guillotines and sometimes like this.

“AOC dancing at protesters within her district, chanting “AOC has to go” is a peak Pelosi performance. Johnny Akzam, a former Democratic congressional candidate wrote that the crown can be passed.

“Imagine if Democrats such as AOC realized that they were employees of their constituents …” Washington Times columnist Tim Young tweeted.

Similar incidents occurred last week, when protestors disrupted another town hall that the congresswoman was hosting. OcasioCortez was heckled by two protestors for supporting the sending of weapons to Ukraine in its war with Russia.

Ocasio Cortez’s previous comments about how protests should make people uncomfortable refused to talk with Ocasio Cortez, calling them “rude.”

Ocasio Cortez tried to talk to protestors during Wednesday’s video to try and defuse the situation.

Respectfully ma’am, what are you saying? ‘Ask us why’ — we’ve been talking for 20 minutes now, okay? We know why. She said, “We know why you are mad.” Let’s discuss it.

She also mocked a man with a sign that said “Wake Up New York.” Vote Tina Forte. F**K AOC,” calling him “classy.”

In November, Ocasio-Cortez will be running for re-election in New York’s 14th Congressional District. Tina Forte (a Republican from the local area), will be her opponent.
