Hunter Biden Seemingly Gives Excuse For Putting Dad On Speakerphone While Surrounded By Business Associates
Hillary Vaughn, a Fox Business reporter, questioned Hunter Biden Wednesday about why he had previously placed his father on speakerphone when surrounded by foreign associates.
Devon Archer, Biden’s former associate in business, testified before the Oversight Committee of the Oversight Committee, June, that Biden had put his father, on more than twenty occasions, on speakerphone.
“Mr. Vaughn asked, “Mr. You put him on speakerphone several times and spoke to your business partners. Why did you do this?
“Just be careful …” Biden, said, presumably about the possibility that a person could trip in the crowded room.
“Mr. Biden, what was the reason for putting your father on speakerphone to speak with your business partners when he wasn’t involved in your business? Vaughn repeated.
Biden asked, “You’ve got a father?” Does he call you?”
Vaughn replied, “Yes.”
The son of the president continued, “Doesn’t he answer his phone?”
She replied, “Yes.”
“Okay,” Biden said.
She asked, “But why were you so concerned about him in business meetings when he didn’t have anything to do with your company?”
The younger Biden appeared unexpectedly on Capitol Hill, Wednesday morning. A hearing was being held by the House Oversight Committee to determine whether he should be charged with contempt of Congress. The hearing was in the middle of deliberations when he abruptly left.
James Comer, chairman of the Oversight Committee and Jim Jordan, chairman of the Judiciary Committee, threatened to instigate contempt proceedings against Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena from Congress to attend a closed-door hearing on Dec. 13.

The network reported initially that Hunter had called Vaughn dangerous. This was corrected later on “The Faulkner Focus” when Hunter called another reporter “dangerous,” for nearly tripping him.
