Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) announced that after the House passed a resolution holding Attorney General Merrick G. Garland in contempt, she would seek support for an “inherent” contempt resolution against him.

Fox News reported that Luna stated, “We fully intend to bring this case.” “I’m not sure I have much confidence in the Department of Justice. The American people don’t either. Luna stated that she will “wait until the vote happens the way the leadership wants it to occur with the criminal contempt”, on Wednesday.
