Nolte — Peak Trump: President Surges To Highest Approval Rating Since Inauguration

President Trump’s Approval Ratings Reach New Heights

President Trump’s job approval rating has reached a peak, matching the highest level since his inauguration in January. As of now, 54% of respondents approve of his performance, while only 46% disapprove. This represents a significant increase of five percentage points from late March.

The survey, which involved 1,002 registered voters and was conducted from April 10-14, coincided with what has been described as stock market turmoil following the President’s decision to increase tariffs—a move that has brought numerous countries to the negotiation table.

Steady Approval Amidst Criticism

James Johnson, a pollster, commented to the Daily Mail, “For all the events of the past ten days, we find the President’s approval rating unchanged and now at its joint highest ever.” He further noted, “Among the noise and criticism, there does seem to be a simple truth: The more coverage there is of Trump’s changes, the more voters reward him for what they see as the pace and purpose that many of them voted for.”

The DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners poll also highlighted that 64% of young voters aged 18 to 29 approve of Trump’s job performance. Approval rates among other age groups include 54% for those over 65, and 52% and 51% for the 30-49 and 50-64 age brackets, respectively.

Hispanic support for Trump stands at 46%, slightly above the 43% disapproval. Among independents, Trump has garnered 48% approval.

Public Opinion Resistant to Media Influence

Despite ongoing critical coverage from legacy media on issues like tariffs, the stock market, and various controversies, it appears that the general populace is increasingly dismissive of what is seen as biased reporting. The trend in Trump’s rising approval ratings suggests that voters are looking beyond the mainstream media’s narratives, recognizing their efforts as nothing more than left-wing propaganda.

Comparatively, in early March, Trump’s approval was lower, with 49% approving and 51% disapproving. Now, he stands at a +8 differential, with recent polls consistently showing him in a favorable light despite concerted media campaigns against him.

Before Trump’s presidency, a significant majority felt that America was on the wrong track. Now, with Trump’s leadership and initiatives, including his firm stance on illegal immigration and gang activity, the public’s desire for change and decisive governance is being met, much to the chagrin of outlets like CNN who continue to harp on less relevant issues.
