North Carolina, Georgia Arizona, Nevada Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are the seven most important battleground states. A candidate must win 270 electoral vote to be able to claim the White House. All sides and observers have described this photo finish presidential race as “close” for weeks. Whoever the Americans elect to be their president, will have a major impact on the nation and all major issues facing the country as well as the world.

The majorities of the U.S. Senate as well as the U.S. House will be decided in addition to the presidential election. Republicans see an easy path to a Senate majority.
